The Freshman Center is committed to providing a supportive, personalized learning environment in which students can develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Our small school learning community will provide opportunities for students to make wise choices, achieve their highest potential, and respect themselves and others while actively engaging in the 9th-grade experience as they begin the process of transitioning to Morton East High school.

As Assistant Principal of the Morton Freshman Center, I want to warmly welcome you to the Freshman Center. It is my sincere pleasure to be part of the administration in moving the vision forward. This will be my 6th year as Assistant Principal at the Freshman Center, and I come from a counseling and teaching background.

It is our goal to provide students an environment to C.A.R.E. (Choose, Achieve, Respect, Engage) within our smaller learning communities, to ensure that students are provided with a well-rounded opportunity to be academically and socially successful.

Bienvenidos (welcome) to the Morton Freshman Center. It is my pleasure to assist District 201 in moving our vision forward. This will be my 10th year in education, having previously served as a social science teacher at the Freshman Center and Morton West, and now as Dean of Students. It is our goal to provide students with an environment where learning is the focus; their needs are met; and discipline is upheld to the highest standards. Together, we will succeed!
